Rotational viscometer features high measurement sensitivity, reliable test results, easy operation, and an elegant appearance. It is a precision instrument used to measure the absolute viscosity of Newtonian liquids and the apparent relative viscosity of non-Newtonian liquids. It can be widely used in products such as oils, paints, plastics, pharmaceuticals, food, coatings, adhesives, glue testers, resins, and chemical raw materials.


Torque Description:
LVT series: suitable for low viscosity materials, can measure the thinnest materials. Typical examples include: ink, oil and solvents.  
RVT series: suitable for medium viscosity materials that have higher viscosity than those measured with the LV torque. Typical examples include: cheese, food and paint.
HAT series: suitable for higher viscosity materials that have higher viscosity than those measured with the RV torque. Typical examples include: gelling agents, chocolate and epoxy resin. (Not currently available)
HBT series: suitable for even higher viscosity materials that have higher viscosity than those measured with the HA torque. Typical examples include: asphalt, joint compounds, and molasses.

This instrument features high measurement sensitivity, reliable test results, easy-to-use operation, and an elegant design. It is a precision instrument used to measure the absolute viscosity of Newtonian liquids and the apparent relative viscosity of non-Newtonian liquids. It can be widely applied to products such as oils, paints, plastics, pharmaceuticals, food, coatings, adhesives, gum, resins, and chemical raw materials.
This instrument is a digital viscometer. It uses a motor to drive a rotor at a constant speed. When the rotor rotates in the liquid, the liquid generates a viscosity torque on the rotor. The greater the viscosity of the liquid, the greater the viscosity torque; conversely, the lower the viscosity of the liquid, the smaller the viscosity torque. The viscosity torque acting on the rotor is detected by a sensor and, after computer processing, provides the viscosity of the tested liquid. It comes with six standard rotors (R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7) and two variable speed modes: stepless variable speed and grade variable speed. The grade variable speed has 10 speed levels (0.5, 1, 2, 2.5, 4, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 rpm), making a total of 60 combinations to measure the viscosity values of various liquids within the measurement range. It also includes a temperature measurement device, displaying the temperature directly on the screen, allowing you to observe viscosity changes due to temperature variations.
Shear force and shear rate can only be displayed when the 0# rotor and a small sample adapter are selected.
