Non-contact cup-type ultrasonic cell disruptor Lawson98-III is used for aseptic disruption and can break chromosomes and crush cells through centrifuge tubes. It comes with a silencing and pressure-tightening device and can be optionally equipped with a DL-1510 low-temperature cooling liquid circulating machine.
Product Introduction
Lawson98-III Cup type ultrasonic cell crusher is used for aseptic disruption and can break chromosomes and crush cells through centrifuge tubes. It is suitable for ChP, ChP-seq, RNA-seq, chromatin shearing, and DNA shearing (used for second-generation sequencing). It is tailored for pre-processing DNA and chromatin immunoprecipitation experimental samples for second-generation sequencing. Compared with traditional probe-contact ultrasonic cell crushers, the non-contact sample can be disrupted under a sealed container without generating infectious aerosols. The ultrasonic probe does not come into contact with the sample, avoiding cross-contamination. Non-contact ultrasonic cell crushers can achieve unparalleled quality, efficiency, and safety compared to traditional ultrasound methods.
Multiple samples can be tested simultaneously, with high experimental efficiency and no wear and tear or debris. Each sample is in a separate fully enclosed test tube to avoid cross-contamination. It can be optionally equipped with a cooling water circulation system, which is convenient for sample ultrasound at 4°C, ensuring even energy distribution and complete ultrasonic action. The ultrasonic parameters can be flexibly set, and the experimental steps are standardized, with good experimental reproducibility and high result reliability.
It is gradually becoming an essential standardized tool for ChIP (chromatin immunoprecipitation) and DNA shearing research platforms. With high experimental efficiency, reliable results, and good reproducibility, it can process samples as low as 5ul and is suitable for precious samples.

Working Principle:
Non-contact cup-type ultrasonic cell disrupter adopts a design where the ultrasonic generator is installed at the bottom of the water tank. In traditional probe-type ultrasonic disrupters, the microfluidic phenomenon caused by ultrasound can only occur in the area close to the probe. However, the non-contact cup-type ultrasonic cell disrupter has the ultrasonic generator installed at the bottom of the water tank, which puts the entire tank within the range of ultrasonic waves. The ultrasonic effect is widely and evenly distributed, reducing the formation of foam. During the experiment, the non-contact cup-type ultrasonic cell disrupter automatically rotates the centrifuge tube to evenly distribute the ultrasonic energy. In the experimental process, each sample is placed in a separate fully sealed centrifuge tube, and there is no cross-contamination between the samples, avoiding the spread of aerosols.

Advantages:
Traditional probe-type ultrasonic cell disruptors directly contact the sample, causing metal ion contamination and only allowing for the processing of one sample at a time, resulting in long experimental cycles. For multiple samples, the same probe needs to be repeatedly used, leading to potential sample cross-contamination. Since the depth of each probe insertion and the energy distribution of each ultrasonic wave is different, the repeatability and accuracy of experimental results are affected. In addition, due to the inability to use a closed system, the aerosols or foam generated during the ultrasonic process may spread to the environment, resulting in potential biological hazards. In contrast, the non-contact cup-type ultrasonic cell disruptor can simultaneously process 4-32 samples, improving experimental efficiency. There is no need for frequent probe operations, and each sample is contained in a separate fully sealed tube, avoiding cross-contamination. The use of a 4°C water bath ensures even distribution of ultrasonic energy and complete ultrasonic effects. The ultrasonic parameters can be flexibly adjusted, and the experimental steps are standardized, resulting in good experimental repeatability and high reliability of results.
